Thank you all so much!

I am both humbled and honored by the decision of HD-35 voters to return me to the Oregon Statehouse for the upcoming session. I will always work for best interests of House District 35 and the state of Oregon.

I want to thank everyone for all for their hard work and dedication, whether you were out there knocking on doors with us,making phone calls  or were one of the many people who voted. Either way it was your support that made this victory possible.

I would also like to thank Mr. Fiddes, who ran an honorable and well fought campaign. By avoiding the personal attacks, we were able to offer voters real solutions, not just more hot air.

With the election behind us, it is time to focus on what matters most, helping Oregon families in these difficult times. With the Oregon House split at 30-30, both parties will have to work harder than ever to reach good compromises for the future of the State.

I greatly look forward to working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle in the up coming session. As we tackle the issues ahead of us: a bloated deficit, an unacceptably high unemployment

rate, and the moribund economy, I hope we can set aside the old partisan politics and work together for the future of this great state.
