December Update

Greetings Friends & Neighbors,

Like many of you, as I reflect back on the previous year I am thankful to count the many victories that we helped achieve together for Oregon. From expanding renter protections and empowering local governments to address housing affordability, to putting more money in the pockets of working families in Oregon by raising wages, and making sure that no child goes hungry at school by expanding free lunch programs to over 30,000 of our most vulnerable students, we demonstrated an important priority–making Oregon a great place for all of us to call home.

As we look forward to 2017, there is no doubt that political uncertainty exists, but I want you to be certain of one thing:  I will continue fighting to defend our victories and make sure we all move forward together. The stakes are too high for families in every corner of Oregon to back down and I’m excited to get to work for you.
